Lufthansa Airlines strengthens commitment to Indian market
With seven destinations and 54 weekly flights, Lufthansa Airlines continues to strengthen its commitment to the Indian market. Lufthansa, for its Indian summer schedule continued to operate to the seven Indian destinations without cutting capacity and is looking at continuing the same trend for the upcoming winter schedule as well.
Director South Asia, Lufthansa said, “Despite the ongoing economic turmoil faced world over, we have not reduced any capacity on our Indian routes during the summer schedule and for the winter schedule also there are no signs of major changes. As a part of our marketing strategy we will continue to introduce innovative offers for students, special prices for US-bound traffic, family offers etc. to attract Indian travellers to fly on Lufthansa.”
Further strengthening its commitment towards the Indian market, the carrier recently started all Business Class service from Mumbai to Munich. The Mumbai-Munich route offers 44 all Business Class seats on a B737 currently;
